Today the mission is to continue to advocate, educate, strengthen survivors to support each other’s as peers, spread awareness of brain injury in southern region of Colorado as well as support other brain injury communities in Colorado.

Maria Martinez


Maria Martinez holds degrees in art education, from the University of Northern Colorado and in Graphic Design from Pueblo Community College. She has worked in the fields of education, and domestic violence and retired from corrections. Maria is an advocate, support group leader, peer mentor, and director of Pueblo Brain Injury, LLC and nonprofit Re-Inspired Minds. She is a member of the following Council & Committees: Center for Disabilities (Center Towards Self-Reliance), Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado, Behavior Health Administration Advisory Council, and TBI Technical Assistance and Resource Center.
